📹 CCTV installation is now underway at the Village Hall — a great step forward in helping keep our community space safe and secure for everyone. Tony has officially started work on our flower beds, and we are excited to see the transformation take shape for the coming weeks/months. The sleepers for the new borders have just been delivered and will be installed very soon – it is all coming together beautifully! This year, we are bringing together the beloved Christmas Lights Switch-on and the popular Christmas Makers Market for one big, magical celebration that everyone can enjoy.

A new Neighbourhood Watch group is being established right here in our village, building a safer, more connected community by encouraging neighbours to look out for one another and share helpful information.

We are making exciting progress around the Village Green and the Village Hall area; from tree maintenance to new planters, and even plans for a new Christmas tree.

The village came alive once again for our much-loved Summer Fayre, and what a fantastic day it turned out to be! From smiling faces to local stalls and great entertainment, it was truly a celebration of community spirit.

It is a sad day in our corner of the village — our dear planted Christmas tree has passed on. His time with us was short, but he brought joy, a few giggles (mostly due to his tiny size), and a whole lot of festive charm. Unfortunately, it was a lack of water that led to his early end.
