A Fantastic Day at the Village Summer Fayre!

The village came alive once again for our much-loved Summer Fayre, and what a fantastic day it turned out to be! From smiling faces to local stalls and great entertainment, it was truly a celebration of community spirit.

🎉 A Huge Success

We are thrilled to announce that the event raised an incredible £1,055.47 for local causes and community projects. Thank you to everyone who donated, participated, and showed their support. Every penny will go towards making a difference right here in our village.

🏡 A buzzing Village Green

The green was full of life as people from near and far came to enjoy:

• Delicious food and drink vendors

• A fantastic craft market

• Pony rides

• And of course, our ever-popular raffle

It was wonderful to see so many families, friends, and neighbours enjoying the day together.

☀️ Sunshine & Smiles (Despite the Forecast)

We had been watching the weather nervously all week, but we were lucky—the rain stayed away, and we even had a few sunny spells! It made the perfect backdrop for a great day outdoors.

🎈 A Slight Change - No Bouncy Castle this year

Due to high winds and safety concerns, we sadly had to cancel the bouncy castle. But even without it, the atmosphere remained joyful and lively, with plenty of activities and entertainment to keep everyone smiling.

🎶 Live Music that lit up the day

A huge thank you to all the incredible bands who performed throughout the day! Your music added so much energy and joy—thank you for helping make the event unforgettable.

Most of all, we want to give a heartfelt thank you to Mollie, who did an outstanding job organising this year’s Fayre. To all the fabulous volunteers who gave their time and energy—we could not have done it without you. Everything ran smoothly, and everyone had a brilliant time because of your hard work.
