RWE Bowbeat Wind Farm Fund
A wee reminder that the wind farm grant fund is open for business, with applications for the first round closing on 21st June. Grants of between £1,000 and £5,000 are available and appilcants need to be a constituted organisation, but not necessarily a charity. A micro grant scheme for funding below £1,000 , administer by Innerleithen and District Community Council, will be launched shortly. Fresh Start for the Lane
You asked, and after two years of planning (and a fair bit of patience, while trying to find out who is responsible etc!), we finally have some exciting news: The lane between The Green and Govans Way is officially tidied! It is amazing what a difference a clear path makes. Big thanks to RS Gardening for bringing us such a transformation! Initial tidy of lanes
Lots of buzz around the hall this weekend with window cleaning and gardening activities underway 🌿😊 Our gardener Reuben, RS Gardening Services, joined us to walk the lane from the Green to Govans Way, as well as the back lane leading to the play park.
