Lots happening at the Village Hall ✨
📹 CCTV installation is now underway at the Village Hall — a great step forward in helping keep our community space safe and secure for everyone. Thank you to Grant & David from Saltire Security for the installation. 🌿 Meanwhile, our contractor, RS Gardening Services has been out in full force — trimming hedges, clearing leaves, and making sure the village is looking its best as autumn sets in. If you are passing by, do not forget to give the boys a wave and a big thank you

Raised flower beds are installed
And with that… our raised beds are in! 🌿 Huge thanks to Ally Mac Joinery for doing an excellent job, as always! We chose railway sleepers for the build, a little nod to the railway history that once ran through our village 🚂. Part of the installation was generously funded by the Scottish Heritage Fund — thank you! The remainder came from your CVA memberships, so thank you to all members for helping make a real, visible difference in our village! Now it is over to the Green

Farewell, Little Tree 🌲 💔
It is a sad day in our corner of the village — our dear planted Christmas tree has passed on. His time with us was short, but he brought joy, a few giggles (mostly due to his tiny size), and a whole lot of festive charm. Unfortunately, it was a lack of water that led to his early end. We are disappointed, a bit heartbroken, and maybe just a little wiser now. No immediate plans on what comes next — for now, we are letting him rest where he stood so proudly. A wee farewell cere

Additional bus stop proposal
Update for further clarity on original post: Several villagers have approached us for help in proposing a new bus stop. This update is just to clarify the process. We’ve already reached out to the council and the local bus service to understand what’s involved in such a request. Unfortunately, we don't have enough volunteers to conduct a full village-wide survey at this point and it not incur any costs. Therefore, we’ll be starting with an initial vote at the AGM, which is op
