You may have noticed that our Green Team has started tidying up the planters on each side of the Village Hall.
The aim is to remove the existing plants, rejuvenate the soil, and replant with a fresh mix of colourful flowers and shrubs to create an attractive, welcoming surround for the Hall.
The work is being carried out by the Green Team, which is made of volunteers, but we have hit a bit of a challenge – the roots of some of the older shrubs are proving very difficult to remove!
Our volunteers are doing their best, but we would really appreciate any extra help.
If you can spare a couple of hours to tackle even one of the stubborn roots, your efforts would make a big difference.
The tools needed are fairly simple: a spade, a fork, and a pick – plus a good helping of energy and enthusiasm!
If you are able to lend a hand, please get in touch and let us know your contact details.
Weather permitting, work can be done in daylight hours, including weekends. But basically it is completely flexible!
Together, we can make the Village Hall surroundings something the whole community can be proud of! 🌿
Thank you so much,
Franziska

I may have some time Mon/tue/wed next week
