Autumn update series - A little bit of fun to start things off...

I hope everyone is enjoying the bright, albeit rather cool, start to autumn! 😅 I had the most beautiful sunrise hike up to the top of Lee Pen this morning, and it's left me feeling extra excited and grateful to live somewhere I love so much.

There is lots happening at the moment in and around Cardrona and I’m planning a little series of blogs over the coming weeks to keep everyone updated with some of the things we have been working on and hopefully, share some exciting news along the way.

I thought I’d start with a little bit of fun!

As many of you will know, Cardrona households have the opportunity to become members of the Cardrona Village Association. Membership is £40 per household per year and is an important part of helping us look after our Hall and grounds, as well as supporting the wider work that goes into keeping our community thriving.

Membership numbers naturally ebb and flow over the years, but the contributions from our members are always hugely appreciated and genuinely make a difference.  We are looking forward to celebrating this more over the coming months.

We have also been building a lovely relationship with the fantastic team at Cardrona Golf & Spa Hotel,  there will be more to share about that in future blogs too, so watch this space!

In the meantime, the Hotel has very kindly offered to donate two rather lovely raffle prizes.

There will be two prize draws towards the end of the year (date to be confirmed:)

Draw 1: All existing CVA member households will automatically be entered as a little thank you for your continued support.

Draw 2: Any households that become CVA members between now and 20th December will be entered into a separate draw.

And the prizes?

A voucher for a meal for two at the Hotel.

A voucher for two people to enjoy a spa afternoon at the Hotel. 

The draws are a bit of extra fun and a lovely way to kick off the pre-festive season.. Of course, the real value is in the support our memberships provide. Your membership helps us maintain our beautiful Hall and grounds and most importantly, ensures that the Hall continues to be a real hub for our community.

So, a huge thank you to everyone who is already a member and a very warm welcome to anyone who decides to join us. We appreciate you.
