Another busy Meet & Eat in Cardrona

It was another bustling Meet & Eat community lunch in Cardrona yesterday!

They served 44 lunches, with everyone enjoying delicious homemade soup, sandwiches, cakes, and a very special crumble made with apples from Traquair House.

Around the table, we had people from across the road and across the world, as we were delighted to welcome a visitor all the way from the USA.

The Tweed Wheels bus brought guests from Peebles, Innerleithen, and St Ronan's House, adding to the lively mix of friendly faces.

A big thank you to everyone who helped with preparing, serving, and clearing up—these events wouldn’t happen without your time and care. Without the help of all the volunteers, these days would not be possible!

Here is a photo of Ruth, who keeps everything running smoothly and on track!

Ruth is always on the lookout for more helping hands—there is no commitment necessary, just lend a hand whenever you can.

Every bit of help makes a difference!
