Fresh Start for the Lane

You asked, and after two years of planning (and a fair bit of patience, while trying to find out who is responsible etc!), we finally have some exciting news: The lane between The Green and Govans Way is officially tidied!

It is amazing what a difference a clear path makes. Big thanks to RS Gardening for bringing us such a transformation! Whether you're heading for a morning stroll or just cutting through, we hope you will all feel more safe and comfortable.

A Community Effort

But this is not a solo mission. A massive thank you goes out to our Green Team volunteers!

They have also committed to ongoing support to ensure the lane stays in tip-top shape.

Solving the Mystery: Who Owns the Land?

While the work was underway, we uncovered a new lead regarding the official ownership of the path and the adjacent land.

*Next Steps: We will be reaching out to the owners shortly to discuss the on going project.

The Goal: We are hoping to secure future assistance to keep this space beautiful for everyone.

The CVA sponsored this cleanup as a special favour to the village.
