📹 CCTV installation is now underway at the Village Hall — a great step forward in helping keep our community space safe and secure for everyone. We chose railway sleepers for the build, a little nod to the railway history that once ran through our village 🚂. Tony has officially started work on our flower beds, and we are excited to see the transformation take shape for the coming weeks/months. The sleepers for the new borders have just been delivered and will be installed very soon – it is all coming together beautifully! The village came alive once again for our much-loved Summer Fayre, and what a fantastic day it turned out to be! From smiling faces to local stalls and great entertainment, it was truly a celebration of community spirit.

This simple, heart-warming idea — “Take a book, leave a book” — is already bringing smiles to faces and stories into homes. Whether you are a lifelong bookworm or just looking for something new to read, there’s something here for everyone.
