📹 CCTV installation is now underway at the Village Hall — a great step forward in helping keep our community space safe and secure for everyone. We chose railway sleepers for the build, a little nod to the railway history that once ran through our village 🚂. A new Neighbourhood Watch group is being established right here in our village, building a safer, more connected community by encouraging neighbours to look out for one another and share helpful information.

Increase in Anti-Social Behaviour Unfortunately, we have seen a noticeable increase in anti-social behaviour in our village recently, particularly around the Village Hall during the evenings and late into the night. This behaviour, while caused by a small minority, has had a noticeable impact on residents — with disturbances reported even after midnight. Temporary Removal of Bench As part of efforts to reduce disturbances and support a safer environment, the bench outside the
