You might have noticed a bit of movement and activity outside our hall today, it is because Ross Falla and his team  have been hard at work trimming our trees. Some branches had grown quite low or were extending out toward the road, so a careful tidy-up was well overdue. This trimming helps keep the area safe, tidy, and looking exactly as it should. The Tweed Foundation is urgently looking for volunteers to help plant some trees at two sites in the upper Tweed area near Glenbreck, Tweedsmuir and Ettrick on Thursday 11 December and one day the following week.  The more accessible site is probably near Glenbreck. This opportunity is open to corporate groups or individuals. They are ideally looking for 4 volunteers plus, the more the merrier!
