It is a sad day in our corner of the village — our dear planted Christmas tree has passed on. His time with us was short, but he brought joy, a few giggles (mostly due to his tiny size), and a whole lot of festive charm. Unfortunately, it was a lack of water that led to his early end. We are disappointed, a bit heartbroken, and maybe just a little wiser now. No immediate plans on what comes next — for now, we are letting him rest where he stood so proudly. A wee farewell cere

A Heartfelt Thank You to Emily First and foremost, we want to express our thanks to Emily McGowan for her time, care, and dedication in managing hall bookings over the past 18 months. Emily has played a vital role in keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes. While Emily will be stepping away from the bookings role, we are very glad that she will continue to be part of the Cardrona Village Association , focusing more on our digital communications and platforms.
